I guess the magic just isn't there in a book format, because each poem is so disjointed and quite frankly a bit too plain to be bundled together.With lots of things to spot and talk about, including iconic red telephone boxes, red double-decker buses and black cabs. As the fulfilment of these items are handled by the supplier, please understand that this is beyond our control. When better to release a book celebrating the ability to unite commuters through shared sentiments than in a year that’s seen Tube travel reduced from four million journeys a day to just 80,000 in peak lockdown, with many of us now feeling a pang of nostalgia for our former overcrowded commutes. My son is 5, so he may be a bit older for the board book version, but he still seemed engaged and could easily recite the concepts.
